Rob represents clients in federal and state courts throughout Virginia with a focus on construction, real estate, products liability and business disputes. Outside of the courtroom, Rob handles transactional matters involving commercial and residential real estate and business formation.
Rob has been recognized for his emphasis on construction matters, as he serves on the Council of the Virginia Bar Association’s Construction and Public Contracts section. In addition, he has been listed among Virginia’s Legal Elite in the area of construction law by Virginia Business magazine. Moreover, Rob formerly served as board member to the Central Virginia chapter of the National Association of Remodeling Industry (NARI). He is a member of the Richmond Bar Association and currently sits on its Board of Directors.
Rob received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond after graduating from Hampden-Sydney College. He worked as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Virginia for one year after law school. Bar admissions include the Virginia State Bar, United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of the State of Virginia, the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
When not practicing law, Rob devotes considerable time to real estate investment. He is President of the Lock Lane Condominium Unit Owners Association and serves on its Board.
